Jesus the Heart of God Christian Academy- Kingdom Builders finished the
elimination of City of Dasmarinas Association of Private Schools- Athletic League,
3-0 after ousted Carissa Homes Christian Schools, 90-50 at Emerald State,
Brg. San Jose tonight which secured a slot in the quarterfinals.
Lead by their coaches, Mr. Roniemar
Maragrag and Kim Aldrian Labadan, the GKB cagers started and ended the
elimination round strong, after winning all those three games with a huge
margin, including its last game against CHCS.
Compared with their first two schedules, this game gave them a better match.

The tip-off began at 5:00 pm,
wherein JHGCA got the first ball and drew the first basket made by Jacob
Hernandez.
Though being careless which
resulting into having turnovers and committing unnecessary fouls, GKB was able
to put up a 17-pt lead in the first half, 27-44.
CHCS opened the third canto with
a trey, which cut down the lead into 14; but, the persistent Builders built a
bigger lead, 39-65 to end the quarter.
JHGCA started the last quarter
into a booming trey which increased their lead into 29.
In 6:16 mins left, the pink and
black ballers sparked an 8-2 run but not enough to rattle the Kingdom Builders
as the second unit were still able to deliver until the dying seconds of the
ball game.
Because of this win, JHGCA
players will enter the quarterfinal round wherein Jesus Christ King of Kings
and Lord of Lords together with St. Francis Academy-La Salle Supervised are
waiting.
