I
wanna say thank you for putting me, first, into a “daydreaming-like state of mind”
then, waking me up into reality.
It took me an hour
to recover after that final buzzer. :D
When you return James
Yap just in the fourth I was like saying “why
only now?” Barroca got his 5th foul, you activated Mallari, and I said again “naaah… why him?where’s PJ?”
A little doubt
crossed my mind and I really felt ashamed because of that.
I was the one who’s
fond of saying “InTimItRust” then for that (even) just a short moment, I doubt on you. #Kainis #Kahiya
The lead went back
to 9 points, haaays.
PJ was still sitting
on the bech.
Instead you put
Mallari in to cover Castro. Mallari was off offensively, but after seeing his defense, I realized why he’s there over PJ.
TNT’s missing their
shots, Barroca started to sizzle then ..
“James Yap for
threeee…. BAAAAANG!” His 10th point of the game all in 4th.
I hit my papa not that hard on his lap.
Barroca drives,
shoot from everywhere, and that made me punched my papa’s shoulder countless
times and I couldn’t even say a thing.
I saw Mays carrying
Barroca; Cap Alvin hugging Barroca, like the hug he gave Bowles 2 years ago; Pingris
celebrating swishing his towel; PJ though benched, smiling big, cheering; crowd’s
roaring; whites and blues flood the Arena's floor, and you… you… you are starting to smile… (Ngiting 3-peat)

And me… still not
moving on that moment, felt tears flowing down from my eyes.
It’s like an
unbelievable thing for me to win on that kind of situation.
It’s a high-scoring
ball game.
I thought I saw Gary
David’s hands transferred into KG’s.
I was like “Oy
SanMig, alam ng tumitira ng tres ayaw pang dikitan”
But then again, your
brilliant mind let TNT fell in love with their threes and forget that they
dominated the elimination through ball movement, balanced scoring, Jimmy or
Castro will drive strong and will kick it out to anyone free out there.
Your genius thinking
let TNT mistrust their inside presence, the best import.
And most of all, your
seems-to-be undesirable move (benching your stars and even import to think of
not winning a game but a series) let this team, my team, our team grabbed this
very sweet 3-peat and one more to go for the “Grandslam” dream.
The wonders you have
done in this team wake us (fans) up in reality that fatigue is a non-factor
over heart, chemistry, determination and trust.
God bless you more Coach Tim!
